Back towards the end of October, the US federal government made the sick choice to deny SNAP Benefits in November because the Democrats, rightfully at the time, was preventing the appropriation of funding for the fiscal year. Although the government shutdown has long since ended, the government is continuing to find ways to screw over SNAP recipients, trying to find ways to avoid issuing the payments.
Now we're in the depths of the holiday season, and things are still not back to normal. And they won't be for a while yet. Our economy has yet to recover, and again, the government wants to avoid issuing payments.
Foodbanks need anyone who can spare a few extra dollars to donate. If you can spare the money, you are more than welcome to contact any author on this spreadsheet and you'll get a free ebook or pdf in return. All most of us ask is for a proof of donation.
